Davey (top two photos) and Patrick (left) both had a backcountry grand slam plus (snook, redfish, tarpon, seatrout) on the same trip. Davey also caught this nice tailing permit (above left) on 10 pound spin.

PHOTO: 6/16/11 Michael Semler of Princeton NJ displays a fun-sized permit he caught on 10 pound spinning gear while sight fishing up on the flats. He and his brother-in-law Bill Stitt (Summitt NJ) also released a pair of tarpon after sunset.

PHOTO: 6/29/11 One of two tarpon Jorge and his father JR of Miami caught on a trip in late June. They hooked 4 other tarpon, two of which broke us off in the bridge. Jorge also caught and released a 4 foot lemon shark.
